According to sources, as usual, Chris Paul could make another plan to move to L.A. The three-team trade between the New Orleans Hornets, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets that would jet the all-star point guard to L.A. been resubmitted to the league office for approval.
The sources have told ESPN.com that a new trade has been presented to Commissioner David Stern by the Hornets. The league-owned teams is hoping Stern, who vetoed the original trade Thursday, will accept this one. Specific changes or new terms for the trade are not available yet.
Hornets General Manager Dell Demps has confirmed the second attempt for a trade. “We’ve been given autonomy to make another trade,” Demps told reporters at a conference Friday night. “We’re back to work and everything is on the table.”
After coming under fire Thursday for the veto, I don’t know to or not to expect Stern may let this deal go through.
